Job summary

Alstom in Jamaica, NY is seeking a full-time Track Supervisor to ensure safety and reliability of track systems. You'll supervise maintenance, plan work schedules, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have high school graduation, specialized training in electrical/mechanical systems, and 1-2 years of track maintenance experience. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent with specialized training in electrical and mechanical systems.
• 1-2 years of track maintenance experience required.
• Experience leading or supervising a team in a union environment required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising corrective and preventive maintenance for mainline and yard tracks.
• Planning work schedules for track maintenance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Evaluating and training Track Maintenance personnel.
• Operating and maintaining heavy diesel rail equipment.
