CSX Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Track Supervisor to inspect and maintain track structure and ROW in the assigned area, ensuring quality maintenance and safe work performance.

The role directly supervises track forces and oversees safety processes, policy compliance, and coordination with CSX ITIS and GEMS reporting systems. The successful candidate will plan work, allocate resources, and monitor performance to meet CSX and FRA standards.

Formación

• Associate's degree or 2-year degree required.
• HS diploma or GED accepted with relevant supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of FRA standards and railroad operations a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage safe and efficient work conditions.
• Plan work and allocate resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Inspect production gang work and track construction projects for quality.
• Monitor track inspection to meet Federal and CSX requirements by Track Inspectors.
• Ensure defects found by geometry cars and rail test cars are corrected via ITIS and GEMS.
• Conduct efficiency and operational tests.
• Communicate and build rapport across departments and agencies.
• Provide feedback and coaching to maintain discipline and performance.
• Ensure budget compliance with hiring, overtime, and materials procurement.
• Conduct engineering activities at major derailments and natural disasters.
• Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
