Job summary

Alstom Jamaica, NY seeks an Operations and Maintenance Trainer to design and deliver training ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency in rail operations. You’ll collaborate with engineering, safety, and operations and manage LMS-based programs across maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes scalable content development, performance tracking, and continuous improvement within a global mobility leader. Domestic travel may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and relevant experience.
• Ability to translate complex technical data into clear learning content.
• Experience facilitating workshops and hands-on training in operational environments.
• Experience developing, coordinating, and delivering technical training in maintenance/rail sectors.
• Familiarity with LMS, training databases, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable training programs for operations and maintenance teams using the LMS.
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and operations to align content with standards.
• Track training completion, competency status, and certifications.
• Deliver training using simulations, digital platforms, and blended methods.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on workforce competency and training impact.
