Job summary

ENSCO, Inc. seeks a Travel Technician for railroad track inspection operations. This role involves interpreting railroad documents, reviewing track data for reporting, and operating hi-rail survey vehicles. Based at customer sites, you will travel to sites across the U.S.

and contribute to mission-critical rail inspections. The position offers a travel-heavy schedule with flights, hotels, and per diem. A Public Trust background check is required along with US residency and relevant experience or

Qualifications

• Must pass Public Trust background investigation.
• Residency in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
• 3+ years in electrical/electromechanical/mechanical field or a Bachelor's degree with 1 year experience.
• Experience with safety programs and MS Office.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret railroad documents to derive train speed information.
• Review and analyze track measurement data for reporting.
• Operate hi-rail vehicles and perform some vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain safety and sanitation aboard government-owned survey vehicles.
• Travel to and work on railroad track inspection sites as a ENSCO representative.
