Woojin IS America, Inc. is seeking skilled technicians to diagnose, test, and repair electronic and electro-mechanical systems on transit vehicles. Candidates will troubleshoot, modify as directed, and ensure performance aligns with manufacturer specifications.

Ideal applicants have 2+ years in rail or aviation environments, familiarity with high/low voltage, and experience with test equipment. Must read diagrams and maintain safe, high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in light rail or aviation environments.
• Experience with low/high/medium voltage and relay logic.
• Proficient with test equipment such as meters and gauges.
• Own and maintain basic hand tools.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot and repair electronic and electro-mechanical systems on transit vehicles.
• Perform modifications under supervision and engineering direction.
• Read diagrams and work orders to guide maintenance tasks.
• Record findings in test reports and vehicle history books.
• Collaborate with engineering and production staff on modifications.
• Verify performance of updated systems and components.
