Job summary

Watco Transloading in Fryburg, ND is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator (Rail Terminal) to lead the development and management of EHS programs, ensure OSHA/DOT compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture across operations.

You will conduct inspections, trainings, audits, and maintain documentation, collaborating with terminal leadership and customers to maintain a safe, compliant workplace and drive continuous safety performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• First Aid/CPR certification or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry completion.
• HAZWOPER or equivalent hazardous materials training.
• Minimum of 3 years EHS or industrial safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and Watco policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and training to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings and trainings for terminal personnel.
• Maintain safety documentation including JSAs/JHAs, SOPs, and training records.
• Coordinate and document required safety training for team members.
• Support onboarding and ensure completion of safety training and qualifications.
