Job summary

Watco Transloading, LLC is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator in Fryburg, ND to develop and manage Watco’s EHS programs, ensuring a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace. You will work with terminal leadership, crews, and customers to promote a proactive safety culture and lead inspections, audits and training across operations.

The role emphasizes onboarding, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and continuous safety improvements in a fast-paced rail terminal environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 18+ with High School or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry
• HAZWOPER or equivalent hazardous materials training
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS or industrial safety experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT compliance and Watco policies
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and training to identify unsafe acts/conditions and drive corrective actions
• Lead safety meetings, job briefings, and training sessions for terminal personnel
