Job summary

Watco invites applications for a Utility Operator position at our Tioga Terminal in North Dakota. The role supports safe, efficient operations, assisting with tank management, loading, and facility services.

The job emphasizes regular attendance, adherence to procedures, and effective teamwork within a rail-terminal environment. The position pays $28.50 per hour, with a 7 days on/7 days off schedule and day/night shifts rotating between 6 AM-6 PM and 6 PM-6 AM.

Qualifications

• Process Maintenance Experience is highly preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform site equipment, tanks, fire suppression, and other inspections as required.
• Access the top and underside of equipment for inspection and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance on all mobile equipment as needed (payloader, skid steer, mowers, weed eaters, blowers, etc.).
• Minor electrical troubleshooting, transmitter, and PLC knowledge are preferred but not required.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting valves, pumps, VCU, and MOV's.
• Will be responsible for the operations as it relates to tank management from pipelines to loading at the rail terminal and all facility operations.
• Complete all applicable documentation and record-keeping.
• Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Building and ground maintenance include lighting, mowing, snow removal, and assisting with janitorial needs.
• Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
• Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
