Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician for an outdoor, industrial cement terminal in Fargo, ND. You will operate bulk terminal equipment, perform hands-on maintenance, and support safe, efficient material flow in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial mechanical environments (not just warehouse).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience around heavy equipment and bulk material systems.
• Ability to work independently and own daily equipment operations.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bulk cement terminal equipment, including railcar unloading systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Load and unload cement from railcars and trucks with safe material flow.
• Inspect equipment, identify issues, and complete basic repairs.
• Ensure accuracy of orders, documentation, and inventory records.
