Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, is hiring a General Laborer to support unloading railcars and site upkeep at our Florida terminals. You will follow lead directions, use hand tools, and help maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers training opportunities, including a Conductor Certification program, and requires reliability, safety focus, and willingness to travel to different company sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and driving record review.
• Must be legally authorized to work in The United States.
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions of Lead Rail or Area Manager for daily tasks and expectations.
• Unload railcars and maintain terminal site using shovels and hand tools.
• Maintain facility landscaping with lawn mower and weed eater.
• Perform preventative maintenance on terminal equipment and machinery.
• May operate heavy equipment and/or company vehicles with training.
