Job summary

Siemens Mobility Customer Services in Sacramento, CA is offering a Mechanical Engineering co‑op for 2027. You will join our Central Engineering team, contribute to overhaul projects for rail vehicles, and gain hands-on engineering experience in a fast-moving transportation environment.

You will work in small teams, use Creo to create 3D models and fabrication drawings, document work instructions, and support maintenance bids.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering (sophomore or junior).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document and create work instructions relating to the overhaul of rail vehicles.
• Assist in rail vehicle equipment mechanical designs and modifications.
• Support in the technical bid of maintenance and overhaul projects.
• Work with Creo modelling software to create 3D models and fabrication drawings.
