Job summary

STV is seeking an Engineering Specialist in the Rail & Transit Systems to support planning, design, integration, and delivery of complex transit systems, including signaling, CBTC, communications, SCADA, traction power, and rail infrastructure.

The role develops and manages system requirements, coordinates interfaces among multidisciplinary teams, and ensures that all subsystems function together as an integrated transportation system. Not eligible for sponsorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Computer, Mechanical, or related field).
Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes.
Experience or coursework in requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jama).

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, trace, and verify system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead interface management between signaling, communications, vehicles, civil, track, power, operations, and maintenance.
Support requirements management, configuration management, V&V, and systems integration.
Coordinate reviews, ICDs, and requirements compliance activities.
Assist with risk management, design reviews, testing, commissioning, and operations readiness.
