Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused Rail Switching Technicians in New Martinsville, WV to support daily rail operations at an industrial facility. This full-time, outdoor role is critical to keeping railcars moving safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will operate locomotives, assist with switching operations, and support the safe movement and placement of railcars. You should be comfortable working nights and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and rotating schedules.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect locomotives prior to operation.
• Operate locomotive controls and switches.
• Assist with switching and movement of railcars.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
