PSC Group is hiring a dependable Rail Switching Lead to operate outdoors, move railcars safely and support daily logistics. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities include training, safety observations, coaching, and ensuring proper braking and couplings. On-site attendance and adherence to procedures are essential for efficient operations.

Qualificações

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Possess or able to obtain a valid Driver's License and TWIC
• Willing to pass drug screen, medical, and background check
• Able to wear PPE and work outdoors
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
• Experience not required; on-the-job training provided
• Military experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety training and equipment are provided and used properly
• Lead safety meetings and coaching to promote safe work practices
• Conduct regular safety observations in the field to maintain visibility
• Oversee on-the-job training aligned with PSC and customer practices
• Provide coaching to support employee growth and accountability
• Review procedures for accuracy and communicate updates
• Review track lists to organize railcars for movement
• Ensure railcars are connected and secured by setting brakes and couplings
• Separate loaded cars from preloaded/empty cars
• Weigh inbound/outbound cars to verify weight limits
• Perform other duties to support safety and efficiency
