Union Pacific Railroad is seeking a hands-on Assistant Signal Worker to support installation, repair, and maintenance of railroad signals and crossing warning systems across North America. You will inspect circuitry, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have robust basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or with a team in varying weather and terrains.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and basic computer skills.
• Must be able to supervise others and plan/organize tasks effectively.
• Strong emphasis on safety, math, and problem solving in field operations.

Responsabilités

• Inspect signal circuitry and related equipment to identify defects.
• Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot and repair signal devices.
• Install, maintain, repair, and replace signaling systems and components.
• Operate vehicles and travel across territory; maintain clean work areas.
