Union Pacific Corporation is seeking an Assistant Signal Person to support installation, repair, and upkeep of railroad signals and crossing warning systems in Colton, CA. The role involves hands-on work with signal equipment and requires frequent travel across North America to keep systems safe and reliable.

The position emphasizes strong safety practices, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to supervise others while coordinating with teams.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to supervise others.
• Strong safety awareness and math skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (95–100%).

Responsabilités

• Inspect signal circuitry, equipment, and systems to identify defects.
• Assemble/disassemble signal crossing devices; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Install, maintain, repair, and replace signal communication systems and components.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles; travel within territory.
• Follow safety rules and FRA regulations; perform duties safely and efficiently.
