• Ability to read, write and communicate English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and get on/off equipment.
• Ability to see, learn, and interpret hand signals and speeds.

Responsibilities

• Safely switch railcars and ensure safe train movement.
• Operate track switches and derails to route trains.
• Observe signals and control speed and clearance distance.
• Inspect cars and report conditions per federal regulations.
• Monitor daily work and report findings.
