Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA is seeking a Production Supervisor for Railroad Operations in Avondale, LA. You will oversee rail yard activities, ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of railcars, and coordinate with production, logistics and railroad partners to keep schedules on track.

The role requires 5+ years in rail yard operations and prior supervisory experience. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is preferred; readiness to work flexible hours including nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in rail yard operations.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping schedules and documentation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day rail operations, ensuring safe loading/unloading of railcars.
• Coordinate with Production and Logistics to update daily schedules.
• Communicate with railroad partners; manage rail car movements and billing.
• Ensure rail car inspections, scale, car scanner, and SAP are functioning for PGIing.
• Lead a team of Distribution Technicians on cross-functional projects.
