Regional Transportation District (RTD) seeks a Rail Operations Supervisor to oversee Rail Operators, coordinate with the Regional Operations Center, and maintain on‑time service while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year in transit operations, maintenance, schedule making, or related support; valid driver’s license.
• Must pass DSPD background screening including fingerprint checks.
• Must have Colorado driver’s license or obtain within 90 days of hire; no DUI/DWI in past 5 years.
• Ability to obtain Light Rail Vehicle Operator certification within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Supervise Rail Operators, including training, coaching, performance management, and ensuring equitable treatment.
• Oversee daily rail operations and resolve operational issues to ensure safe, reliable service delivery.
• Maintain real-time communication with ROC to coordinate service adjustments and relay critical information.
• Respond to disruptions and emergencies with operational solutions such as single-tracking and bus bridges.
• Ensure compliance with rail operating rules, policies, procedures, and federal regulations; conduct fit-for-duty observations.
• Perform hazard analyses, safety assessments, and service reliability evaluations.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for safety, compliance, and performance reviews.
• Inspect stations, platforms, yards, and facilities for safety and readiness.
• Support customer service by assisting passengers and monitoring rider behavior.
• Collaborate with internal departments and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
