Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is offering a College Intern – Regional Rail position in Orange County, CA. The role supports rail initiatives by compiling and analyzing performance data, preparing presentations, and attending Board meetings.

The internship provides field exposure to rail operations and projects and includes a year-round, paid program with mentorship. You will work approximately 20 hours per week, up to 1,000 hours in a 12-month period, with pay ranging from $20.00

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time college student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree relevant to transportation, planning, business administration, engineering, data analytics or related field.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations, reports, and materials highlighting rail performance metrics.
• Support analysis of rail system performance data and trends.
• Attend Committee and Board meetings and prepare meeting notes.
