Job summary

Quality Talent Group is partnering with a global client in the building automation and industrial technology sector to recruit an experienced Rail Operations Supervisor. The role centers on overseeing rail movements, coordinating with CSX and other rail destinations, and ensuring daily loading targets are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervision experience in locomotive operations, with a locomotive engineer certification preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years of equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of supervision experience, Locomotive Engineer/Rail Conductor.
Locomotive Engineer certification.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Field of Study Preferred: Logistics, Business.

Responsibilities

Oversee the rail operation, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate daily rail movements with rail service provider CSX and all rail destinations.
Monitor rail operations to ensure compliance and achieve daily loading targets.
Adjust rail schedules and optimize workflow to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Identify and address rail bottlenecks or issues to minimize downtime.
