Job summary

Plastic Express is seeking a dedicated Rail Operations Associate in Pasadena, TX. This full-time role reports to the Rail or Production Manager and involves performing essential rail functions in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities include operating a Rail Mover, light maintenance, training new staff, and maintaining records. Must be prepared for 12-hour shifts, and obtain rail king certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Previous rail experience or familiarity with rail operations preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/pass site rail king certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rail Mover to move rail cars safely and efficiently.
• Perform light maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Train new staff when requested by management.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communicate issues and safety concerns to management.
