Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a full-time Rail Loader – Switching Technician in Texas. The role covers inspecting railcars and loading operations, rail switching tasks, and ensuring safety and paperwork compliance.

The position requires on-site attendance, a valid Driver’s License or TWIC may be needed, and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including holidays and weekends. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check.
• 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card may be required.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.
• On-site attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect railcars and loading arms for leaks and mechanical soundness.
• Connect/disconnect loading arms and complete paperwork.
• Plan railcar spotting and operate trackmobile/locomotive as needed.
• Communicate with rail team and customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
