CPKC in Corpus Christi, TX, seeks a Manager Mechanical to lead a safety‑focused team ensuring compliant, efficient rail operations. You will champion a safety culture, uphold maintenance standards, and drive performance across safety, service, productivity, and financial results.

Responsibilities include guiding KPIs, coordinating with field ops and unions, applying Lean to boost productivity, and overseeing timely car repairs and incident response.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in railway operations.
• Availability for all shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, monitor, and communicate KPIs for train service operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements; lead safety initiatives.
• Maintain communication with field operations to meet customer expectations.
• Build relationships with local union officials and oversee gain-sharing activities where applicable.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing Lean methods to enhance productivity.
• Ensure timely completion of car repairs and achievement of operational metrics.
• Lead mechanical teams during train incidents and coordinate with Field Operations and Engineering.
