Job summary

Bunge Limited in Decatur, Alabama is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support rail logistics and operations strategy across multiple facilities. You will coordinate domestic rail shipping schedules and train schedules for crush plant logistics, and assist the Logistics Manager in balancing customer and plant demand with meal and rail availability, while monitoring shipments and resolving issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years in logistics or related fields; proficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years in logistics, transportation, or food industry preferred.
Ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of rail logistics and operation strategy for multiple facilities.
Coordinate domestic rail shipping schedules and train schedules for crush plant logistics.
Assist Logistics Manager in balancing customer and plant demand with meal and rail availability.
Monitor loaded rail shipments and facilitate problem resolution.
Instruct plants daily on rail shipments to optimize car utilization and timely delivery.
