TYLin is seeking a Construction Engineer to support infrastructure/rail projects. You will coordinate with inspectors, collect data, and assist in preparing schedules and budgets while engaging in change order negotiations and reviewing contractor invoices.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Construction Management with 2+ years of experience, exposure to rail projects, and a collaborative, client-focused approach. This role emphasizes accuracy, innovation, and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with 2+ years of construction or office engineer experience.
• Experience with infrastructure construction; prior work with MTA or rail agencies preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.
• Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.
• Prepare project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports.
• Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors.
• Review contractor invoicing to verify quantities and enter contractor invoices into Client's online system.
