Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks a Rail Bridge CADD Tech/Highway Bridge CADD Tech. The role drafts bridge and structure projects under supervision, using 2D/3D CAD tools and documenting modeling outputs.

You'll work within HDR's employee-owned culture, collaborating with engineers and specialists to create accurate drawings and specifications for mobility infrastructure while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform Bridge and Structure discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Engineer, or other technical professional
• Prepare drawings, details, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using 2D and 3D computer-aided design software
• Produce discipline specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output
• Perform other duties as needed

In the role of Rail Bridge CADD Tech/Highway Bridge CADD Tech, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
• Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
