Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC in Pueblo, Colorado, is hiring a Rail Grinder to grind, fit and assemble track work according to the prints and specifications.

Responsibilities include operating grinders and power tools, finishing grind, weld, fit and assemble steel and related track products, reading the production schedule, and keeping the work area clean while following safety, quality and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Welding, Forklift and Crane certification preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, ITP's, blueprints, rulers and tape measures.
• Basic mathematical calculation experience with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinder and power tools to grind, fit and assemble track work per print.
• Finish grind, weld, fit and assemble steel, iron and manganese track work products.
• Read and follow the production schedule.
• Maintain a clean work area and work with minimal supervision.
• Follow Nortrak safety, quality and environmental procedures.
