Job summary

Track Tech Inc. is seeking a Railroad Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple crews and job sites from planning to completion. You’ll ensure work is on time, on budget, and above spec, coordinating with clients, internal teams, and railroad partners.

Your territory will span multiple states and regions. You will oversee manpower, equipment, and materials on regional projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality while communicating goals to supervisors and crews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rail construction or maintenance (Class I or contractor)
• Strong leadership skills and field management experience
• Solid understanding of FRA rules, railroad safety, and construction best practices
• Ability to travel regionally and work on-site

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations, including manpower, equipment, and materials
• Ensure jobsite safety, efficiency, and quality — every day
• Communicate project goals and expectations to supervisors and crews
• Track progress, solve problems, and keep things moving
• Represent Track Tech with professionalism to clients, inspectors, and rail partners
• Support scheduling, budgeting, and reporting with the leadership team
