Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Rail Fabricator in Oakdale, CA. The role focuses on welding, fabrication, assembly, and repair of structural steel components to meet blueprints and production standards.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of rail fabrication experience, be able to read fabrication drawings, and pass a welding test. Pay is $30 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural steel blueprints and fabrication plans.
• Layout, fit, and assemble metal components to specification.
• Perform accurate measurements using weld gauges, tape measures, and other tools.
• Cut materials using torches and fabrication equipment.
• Follow welding procedures and quality standards.
• Operate shop power tools and hand tools safely.
• Maintain and properly store equipment after use.
• Assist in various production areas as needed.
