Job summary

Rail Events Incorporated, a subsidiary of American Heritage Railways, seeks a Production Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned events and projects, including cast, crew, food service, ticketing, and coordination with train operations and contractors.

You will lead pre-production, manage budgets, supervise production personnel, and collaborate with directors and designers to deliver top-quality productions, with travel across the US, Canada, and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience in general management and managing special events.
• Ability to lead a large team in a live show setting.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and production teams in developing REI and REP events.
• Oversee on-site staff and operations during event runs.
• Collaborate with directors, designers, and production staff.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Manage budgets and ensure work stays within budgets.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors during preproduction.
