Job summary

Rail Events Productions in Oklahoma City is seeking a Local Production Manager to oversee all technical and operational aspects of our POLAR EXPRESS event. You will lead local staff, recruit crews, manage schedules, and coordinate with on-site management to ensure a seamless, safe show.

The role requires hands-on leadership for evenings, weekends and holidays, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences while working within budgets and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or stage management of live events.
• Ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all technical and operational aspects of the local event.
• Lead recruiting of local crew for load in, load out, and run crew.
• Create and manage production staff schedules.
• Source materials and services with local vendors and contractors.
• Assist with maintaining prepared budgets and tracking expenses.
• Supervise local crew across lighting, audio, props, décor, wardrobe, and catering.
• Serve as liaison between Rail Events Productions and on-site management.
• Plan logistics and oversee load-out under REP guidance.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies during events.
