Utah Transit Authority is seeking a skilled maintenance helper to perform preventative inspections and component replacements on rail vehicles. You will use hand and power tools, support electromechanics, and assist in complex repairs, testing, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities include helping with training, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining certification requirements while working a night shift with specific days off. Requires physical endurance and a valid Utah driver’s license.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
• 2 years verifiable related work experience or 1 year technical training.
• Able to pass Electromechanic Helper test and rail certifications.

Mansioni

• Maintain and replace mechanical and electrical components on rail vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and diagnostics.
• Assist advanced technicians and provide training support as needed.
