Utah Transit Authority seeks an Electromechanical Helper to perform preventative maintenance and component replacement on rail vehicles. You will use hand and power tools, assist senior technicians, and help train peers. The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to operate shop equipment safely.

Shift: 9:00pm–7:30am with Mon/Tue/Wed off; wage progression over five years. Applicants must pass safety and rail certifications and obtain a DOT medical card.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or training in electromechanics or related tech fields.
• Ability to pass required tests and certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on rail vehicles.
• Remove and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Assist Electromechanics and advanced staff on complex tasks.
• Support training and certification of peers.
