Bi-State Development’s MetroLink division in Saint Louis, Missouri, is seeking a MetroLink Mechanic for full-time maintenance of rail vehicles. The role offers hourly pay and strong overtime potential with a robust benefits package.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on LRVs, using diagnostic tools. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork within a busy rail operation.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required and CDL license essential.
• Must provide own tools for field service.
• CDL license and ability to obtain CDL permit required.
• DOT physical may be required depending on location.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LRV systems.
• Inspect, service, calibrate, align, repair and diagnose rail vehicle subsystems.
• Operate diagnostic test equipment and read wiring/circuit diagrams.
• Maintain thorough equipment reports and records.
• Move LRVs as needed after qualification, including switch operations.
