The role emphasizes technical depth in DC/AC power systems with a focus on switchgear, converters, and protection relays, while building a strategic sales plan and profitability models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant technical field.
• 3+ years in sales engineering, project management, or technical sales with electro-mechanical solutions.
• Familiarity with DC and AC power systems (Low and Medium Voltage).
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite; ability to model and present calculations.

Responsibilities

• Technical estimating & solutions development for traction power substation and rail applications.
• Direct collaboration with clients to deliver tailored solutions and maintain relationships.
• Provide product expertise on DC/AC products including switchgear, rectifiers, power converters, and protection relays.
• Develop a strategic sales plan to build a robust pipeline and meet annual sales goals.
• Model financial business cases to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
• Lead responses for RFPs/RFIs and monitor market trends.
• Attend trade associations, conferences, and client events to represent the company and educate stakeholders.
