The role includes documentation, calibration, and training junior staff. Requires 2-5 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a relevant apprenticeship or technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory and related materials/equipment.
• Apprenticeship or technical/vocational degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components per codes/blueprints.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning and calibrate equipment to specifications.
• Prepare, bend conduit, and pull wires; complete service documentation.
• Ensure inventory of supplies and parts and troubleshoot problems and repairs.
• Train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Read PLCs and operate a variety of equipment including forklifts and cranes.
