Job summary

SSAB is seeking a Maintenance Operator in Mobile, Alabama. This role involves performing industrial electrical maintenance and repairs for plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance, a High School diploma, and skills in PLC programming.

Key responsibilities include maintaining electrical distribution systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Candidates with an Associates degree and additional experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting control systems.
• Ability to perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all maintenance JSA’s and safety policies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems.
• Perform Lockout / Tagout of equipment.
• Maintain plant building services and overhead lighting.
