Job summary

LP Building Solutions in Alabama is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventative maintenance and support the mill's electrical operations.

Join a demanding OSB manufacturing environment with responsibilities including predictive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, reading wiring and circuit diagrams, and adhering to safety rules. A vocational degree and PLC training are preferred, with 2–5 years’ electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical functions and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and take appropriate action.
• Seek guidance from higher level position for complex issues.
• Read wiring and circuit diagrams.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
