Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a 10–12‑week Data Analysis Internship in the Wilmington/New Castle, Delaware area. You’ll join the Rail Asset Management and Performance Center (RAMP) to monitor fleet performance, analyze failure data, and help drive improvements for reliable trains.

Ideal for rising juniors/seniors pursuing an engineering degree, with 40 hours/week availability June–August and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August.
• Work Authorization: legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Must reside near internship location (New Castle), Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Learn standard RAMP processes and support data analysis tasks.
• Work with RAMP groups from mechanical desk to data analytics and engineering teams.
• Process and interpret data to drive actionable outcomes.
• Gain experience with Weibull analysis and analytical tools.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and Spotfire.
