Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites a Summer 2027 intern to join the AMS Accounting team in Raleigh, NC. You will support accounts payable, reconciliations, and monthly close activities while gaining hands-on experience with data validation, reporting, and process improvements.

The role offers exposure to Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, and automation tools, with a path to contribute to digital finance initiatives and finance transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a rising senior in a four-year college, pursuing accounting/finance/analytics type degree.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Interest in Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, or similar analytics, reporting, automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, accruals, expense recognition, and revenue-related analysis.
• Support data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation for financial reporting integrity.
• Develop and maintain reports and analytics using Power BI, KNIME, Excel, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Shared Services, and business stakeholders to understand data flows and reporting.
