Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
• 5+ years of experience in railroad construction or heavy civil construction.
• Experience operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and quality control policies among employees.
• Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to determine project needs.
• Plan construction processes and inspections.
• Maintain a daily diary of all activities.
• Provide supervision and feedback to crew members.

Skills

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FMCSA, DOT, FRA)

Knowledge of rail maintenance and/or construction operations

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent time-management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent organizational skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate’s degree in construction or business management
