Job summary

L.K. Comstock & Company LLC, a RailWorks subsidiary, seeks a dedicated Safety Manager to coordinate comprehensive safety programs across project sites.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws while fostering a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors. Responsibilities include implementing safety policies, conducting training, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of safety experience in construction.
• Active NYS DOL Asbestos Inspector license preferred (if applicable).
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Training required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage safety programs to comply with OSHA and local regulations.
• Oversee safety training for employees and supervisors.
• Inspect sites for hazards and enforce corrective actions.
• Maintain records and report incidents as required.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation processes with insurer.
