Job summary

PPG Rail Application Specialist will provide product application assistance at customer sites, lead painter training, and assist with product complaint investigations in North America. The role requires documenting findings in written reports and conducting hands-on product testing, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years practical railcar interior and/or exterior coating application experience.
• Prior experience with railcar interior and/or exterior coating inspections.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide product application assistance at customer sites.
• Conduct painter training and hands-on application techniques and best practices.
• Assist with product complaints using defined test protocols and report results.
• Complete written reports of rail coating applications and investigations.
• Perform hands-on new product application testing.
• Adhere to safety attitudes, procedures, and site rules on all programs.
