Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technician to join our healthcare team at a California State Prison in Corcoran, CA.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring image quality, and upholding radiation safety within a correctional setting. Travel pay bonuses apply for those commuting 50+ miles. This is a contract position with a path toward ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• CA Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Able to pass background check.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintain radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self.
• Process and review radiographic images for diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain radiology equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures.
• Communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient imaging results.
• Follow infection control and security protocols within the correctional facility.

This position plays a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality radiographic examinations while maintaining safety and compliance with facility protocols.

Details:

• Location: Corcoran, CA
• Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts
• Higher Pay for Travelers: Additional compensation for those commuting 50+ miles from the facility
• Employment Type: Contract
