Job summary

SWAT Environmental is seeking hands-on candidates in the Longmont area to install radon mitigation systems and protect homes. You will inspect properties, determine optimal system placement, drill, cut PVC, install fans, and seal openings to reduce radon exposure.

We offer paid training and certification, a company van to take home daily, and a competitive first-year earning of 45–60k. Requirements include 1+ years in construction or skilled trades and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or skilled trades, or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Lift and carry a 60-pound ladder.
• Work on ladders at 40 feet or higher.
• Work in confined spaces with bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand tools safely.
• Acquire and maintain required certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

At SWAT Environmental, we install “ Radon Mitigation Systems ” protect homes and businesses across the nation from the harmful effects of Radon , which is a naturally occurring, radioactive gas that escapes when uranium in the soil decays and can become concentrated in a home, seeping through cracks and openings in the foundation (basements). The EPA recommends that structures testing above 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) have a Radon Mitigation System installed.

Who Qualifies?

• We are looking to give “ paid ” training & certification to those with hands-on experience in the following fields: (such as a Maintenance Techs, Plumbers/Pipe Fitters, Construction & Day Laborers, Roofers, HVAC Techs, Electricians, Carpenters, Handyman, Journeyman, Apprentices, Pest Control, Remodelers, Framers, Concrete/Brick Layers, Cell Tower Techs , etc.) who are looking for a career that enhances your skill sets.
