Job summary

RaData, a Protect Environmental Company, seeks a Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations including sample intake, benchwork, data entry, and customer service. The role involves maintaining equipment, following SOPs, and handling clerical tasks to sustain a safe, efficient lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus 3–6 months of lab experience, with familiarity in automated lab equipment and strong organizational skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Three to six months of laboratory experience desired.
• Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the technician team in the preparation and processing of laboratory samples.
• Conduct routine tests and experiments following established protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Record and manage data from experiments and tests.
• Submits data from samples for review and returns samples for archiving according to laboratory protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laboratory SOPs.
