Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, is recruiting for a Nuclear Manufacturing role to produce PET radiopharmaceuticals in a regulated setting.

The position involves working in ISO cleanrooms, handling radioactive materials, and following strict safety and quality procedures. You will receive extensive training, perform QC tests, manage SAP inventory, and coordinate production schedules based on customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• Education in sciences preferred.
• Lab experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overnight shift (Facility operates at night).
• Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in a controlled environment and/or regulated industry desired.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures radioactive isotopes (includes synthesis setup, hot cell manipulations, distribution).
• Conducts quality control testing of each batch using listed instruments.
• Works in ISO 7 cleanroom to make product and customer vials.
• Performs environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 environments.
• Coordinates daily production run schedule based on customer and pharmacy needs.
• Maintains daily production records and reports; supports documentation practices.
• Manages SAP Inventory including receiving and cycle counts.
• Performs daily radiation safety tasks and lab cleaning.
