Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Nuclear Manufacturing technician in Augusta, GA to manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals in a cleanroom environment. You will work in ISO 5–7 areas, perform quality control tests, manage SAP inventory and document production records in alignment with cGMP and GDP standards.

The role requires overnight shifts (night operations) and a 40-hour week; a $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for new hires. Comprehensive benefits are provided by Cardinal Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Science education preferred.
• Lab experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures radioactive isotopes, including synthesis setup, hot cell manipulations and distribution.
• Performs quality control testing of each batch using GC, dose calibrator, MSA, TLC plate scanner, HPLC, analytical balance, PTS, hood and fume hood.
• Operates in ISO 7 cleanroom to make product and customer vials for drug production.
• Performs environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5, 7 and 8 environments.
• Coordinates daily production run schedule based on customer and pharmacy needs.
• Maintains daily production records, prepares reports and maintains records.
• Manages SAP inventory, including receiving materials, inspecting for use, and cycle counts.
• Performs daily radiation safety tasks and general lab cleaning.
• Follows SOPs per cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to learn and use technology to support manufacturing processes.
• Works with cross-functional teams to meet product/production expectations.
