Rochester Regional Health's Unity Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with attention to patient comfort and safety. The role is in the Diagnostic Radiology department in Rochester, NY, with a Mon-Fri 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm schedule and on-call/holiday coverage.
The ideal candidate holds a NYS license (or permit with licensure within six months), ARRT certification (if licensed after 2007), and 2 years of college or equivalent.

SUMMARY: Performs and assists radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, obtaining films of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $28.75 - $38.75 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
